Career Coaching
Career Coaching provides wrap around services to individuals who are underemployed or unemployed by connecting them to in-demand training and career pathways. SENDCAA is partnered with United Way to support families in obtaining a more living wage and improving their economic mobility. Career Coaches walk alongside families to address barriers to sustainable employment and to connect individuals into workforce training such as healthcare.
Career Coaching Goals Are:
- Establish and increase workforce collaborations/partnerships to leverage resources and services for underserved communities
- Identify and remove barriers that exist to allow participants to enter the workforce
- Position participants on career pathways
- Increase access to education services such as workforce skill training and supportive services
