About Us
The Head Start Program and Early Head Start Program exist to provide comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families.
The SENDCAA (SouthEastern North Dakota Community Action Agency) Head Start Birth to Five program provides these comprehensive services to children from birth to 5 years of age, and their families in our various locations across North Dakota.
Our teachers, teacher assistants, classroom staff, and educators in health, nutrition, and family involvement provide wrap-around services to ensure children become school-ready. We also foster stable family relationships, enhance children's physical and emotional well-being, and establish an environment to develop strong cognitive skills.
